For years, KYD has proudly championed the academic and personal growth of young scholars in Prince George’s and Charles Counties, Maryland. Through established awards ceremonies, KYD provides scholarships to college-bound students, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder their pursuit of higher education.

Beyond scholarships, KYD recognizes the dedication, commitment, and outstanding achievements of Kappa League students and chapter members, celebrating their excellence and leadership within the community.

In collaboration with the Upper Marlboro/Waldorf (MD) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., KYD actively raises funds to support scholarships and vital community service initiatives. Additionally, the Foundation provides financial support for the chapter’s Kappa League Program, empowering young men with mentorship, leadership training, and academic guidance to help them reach their full potential.
