Kappa Youth Development, Inc. is proud to have provided financial assistance to the Upper Marlboro/Waldorf (MD) Alumni Chapter’s Kappa League trip to the Guide Right Centennial celebration, which took place July 7 -10, 2022, in St. Louis, Missouri, the birthplace of Guide Right. Since 1922, the Guide Right program has offered students the chance to benefit from mentorship by experienced advisors, engage in meaningful community service, participate in enlightening college tours, access scholarships for higher education, and acquire essential skills for careers in trades or entrepreneurship.

The National Kappa League Conference held during the Guide Right Centennial was a remarkable opportunity for the students to engage in a range of activities focused on leadership, community service, enrichment workshops, STEM, and recreational activities. With the generous support of Kappa Youth Development, Inc., the students were able to participate in this enriching experience that fostered their personal growth and development.
